Matter3D PETG Large-Format Pellets are engineered for reliable performance on pellet extruders, robotic gantry systems, and large-format 3D printers. Our PETG is compounded in-house using high-quality resin and tuned rheology to deliver stable melt flow, clean extrusion, and excellent layer bonding at high deposition rates.

PETG offers improved toughness, impact resistance, and moisture tolerance compared to PLA, making it well-suited for functional tooling, fixtures, and large printed parts exposed to more demanding environments. The material maintains a smooth surface finish while providing better durability and thermal stability for long-duration prints.

Compounded and processed in Canada, our PETG pellets are tightly controlled for moisture content, pellet uniformity, and melt consistency to ensure reliable feeding, smooth extrusion, and repeatable results across long builds and high-throughput production runs.

If your application requires increased stiffness, higher heat resistance, or reinforcement, we also offer PETG GF, PETG CF, and custom formulations optimized for your hardware and performance requirements.

Material Performance Profile

PETg - GF15 UV Large-Format 3D Printing Pellets

Matter3D PETG Large-Format Printing Pellets are engineered specifically for pellet-fed and large-scale additive manufacturing systems. Each formulation is compounded in-house to provide stable melt flow, excellent layer adhesion, and consistent mechanical performance for high-throughput industrial printing environments.

Matter3D PETG GF15 Large-Format Pellets are a glass-fiber-reinforced PETG formulation engineered for pellet-fed and large-scale 3D printing systems requiring increased stiffness, dimensional stability, and thermal performance compared to unfilled PETG.

With a 15% glass fiber loading, PETG GF15 provides a controlled increase in rigidity while maintaining good processability and reliable layer adhesion on large-format extrusion systems. This balance makes it well suited for functional tooling, fixtures, and structural prototypes where improved mechanical stability is required without the brittleness or high abrasiveness associated with higher fiber loadings.

Each batch is compounded and processed in Canada with controlled moisture content, pellet uniformity, and fiber dispersion to ensure consistent feeding, stable melt flow, and repeatable mechanical performance across long-duration, high-throughput builds.

Key Features

    • Compounded in Canada: Full control over resin quality, additives, and batch consistency

Compatible with Major Large-Format Systems: Robotic gantries, screw-fed pellet extruders, and industrial printers
  • PETg - GF15 Pellets Features

    • 15% Glass Fiber Reinforcement
Provides a meaningful increase in stiffness and dimensional stability over unfilled PETG while preserving a workable processing window.
    • Improved Dimensional Stability
Reduced creep and deformation for large printed parts, fixtures, and tooling.
    • Elevated Heat Resistance
Higher thermal performance than PETG Natural, improving shape retention in service.
    • Balanced Processability
Easier to process than higher glass or carbon fiber loadings, making it suitable for long builds and production environments.
    • Controlled Fiber Dispersion
Uniform glass fiber distribution ensures predictable mechanical properties and consistent extrusion behavior.
    • Good Layer Adhesion
Maintains strong interlayer bonding relative to higher reinforcement levels.
    • Moderate Abrasiveness
Less abrasive than high-fiber or carbon-fiber-filled grades, helping extend screw, barrel, and nozzle life.
    • Compounded & Quality-Controlled in Canada
Pellets are dried, conditioned, and screened to ensure consistent feeding and batch-to-batch repeatability.

Quality & Manufacturing

Every batch of Matter3D Large-Scale Printing Pellets is compounded and quality-checked in Victoria, BC. We control moisture content, pellet uniformity, bulk density, fiber dispersion, and rheological behavior to ensure clean, stable extrusion at high deposition rates. Each lot is verified for melt flow consistency, contamination-free processing, and reliable mechanical performance. Our QC process ensures batch-to-batch repeatability—critical for long builds and industrial-scale printing.

FAQ

Q: What makes Matter3D pellets different from other pellet suppliers?

A: We compound every formulation in-house, ensuring controlled moisture, clean fiber dispersion, and consistent melt behavior. Our pellets are engineered specifically for pellet-fed and large-format 3D printing systems—not generic injection molding grades.

Q: Are these pellets suitable for high-speed, high-throughput extrusion?

A: Yes. All materials are tuned for stable viscosity at high deposition rates, making them ideal for robotic gantries, large-format printers, and screw-fed pellet extruders.

Q: Do you offer fire-retardant (FR) or specialty variants?

A: Yes. We can create UL94-grade FR variants, UV-stabilized versions, heat-stabilized formulations, and custom fiber loadings (10–40% CF or GF).

Q: Can you match a customer’s existing material?

A: Absolutely. We can reverse-engineer or tune a material’s rheology, melt flow, stiffness, color, or fiber content to match—or outperform—your current pellets.

Q: What pellet size do you supply?

A: Standard 3 mm pellets, with custom sizing available upon request for specific feeders or extruders.

Q: Are custom colors available?

A: Yes. We offer custom pigmentation as well as masterbatch development.

Q: Are the pellets dried before shipping?

A: Most materials are pre-dried, but moisture-sensitive resins (like Nylon or PC-ABS) should still be dried on-site before printing for best results.

Q: Can you support large-format print farms?

A: Yes. We can supply large-volume orders, create material-specific datasheets, and tune custom formulations for your hardware or workflow.

Q: Why choose PETG over PLA for large-format printing?

A: PETG provides higher impact resistance, better moisture tolerance, and improved durability, making it more suitable for functional tooling and parts that require longer service life or environmental resistance.

Q: Why choose PETG GF15 over unfilled PETG?

A: PETG GF15 offers increased stiffness, dimensional stability, and heat resistance while maintaining better processability and lower abrasiveness than higher fiber-filled grades.
