What USMCA Means for Our Customers
If you’ve ever shipped across the border, you know how frustrating tariffs and customs delays can be. The good news is that none of this applies to us.
All our filament is USMCA compliant, meaning it ships tariff-free across North America with no surprises at customs. Furthermore, anything you make using our filament is also USMCA compliant.
What is USMCA?
The United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA) is the trade deal that replaced NAFTA in 2016. In short, it allows goods that are made and sourced in North America to move freely between Canada, the U.S., and Mexico without import duties.
How We Fit In
Our materials and production are based entirely in North America. Because of that, all our products qualify under the USMCA trade agreement.
When you order from us to the U.S., your shipment is tariff/duty-free and clears customs quickly. We include all the required USMCA certificates, and our shipping partners like UPS and FEDEX handle the rest.
For Our Canadian Partners
If you’re a Canadian customer using our filament in your own products, you benefit too. Because our materials are made in Canada, anything you produce and export using our filament is also USMCA compliant — which means your finished parts, prototypes, or products can cross the border without tariffs or complications.
