If you own a Bambu printer, here’s some good news: every Matter3D spool fits perfectly in the AMS system, with no adapters, tricks, or wasted space. Our spools are 200 mm in diameter and 65 mm wide; the exact size needed for a drop-in fit.
A lot of people assume they need to buy Bambu-branded filament because of the RFID chips. The truth is, you don’t. The RFID only tells the printer what settings to use, but you can enter those manually or use our tuned print profiles, available for free on our Downloads page. Once those profiles are loaded, your printer will perform exactly as it should, with no chip, limitations, and no markup.
Our materials are fully open-source and designed to work beautifully on any 3D printer (not just Bambu). Whether you’re running an AMS, a Prusa, or a Creality setup, you’ll get consistent results every time.
